Well doing things for me just got better. I took the afternoon off and took a bubble bath.
I found myself so overwhelmed with the humdrum of work and couldn’t do it anymore. I’m flustered and annoyed. Cranky and kinda wanna cry for no reason. So for me I won’t pour from an empty cup, I think we’ve talked about this before here.
So to refill my cup a clocked out a few hours early. Took a bath and then chilled. Cooked dinner kinda early and then sat on my porch and just sat. I didn’t worry about how my team finished the work day. I checked out. I didn’t check Facebook or other social media. Even when I watched tv I watch the documentary on Chimps vs something full of drama.
I chilled with my sisters of S.E.L.F. and then fell asleep on the sofa. I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to win.
A lot was gained taking just one afternoon off!
